On March 28th, 2023, the China Guangzhou International Furniture Production Equipment and Ingredients Exhibition (CIFM/interzum Guangzhou) was held at the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou, Guangzhou. The four-day exhibition gathered the attention of the global furniture industry and attracted industry elites from all over the world to participate, continuously setting a benchmark for the Asian furniture manufacturing industry.
This exhibition brings together the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) American Softwoods、 Nearly 1000 high-quality brands from both domestic and international markets, including ARPICO from Sri Lanka, and nearly 200 international leading enterprises, gathered together to showcase new products, technologies, processes, materials, and other advancements in the global furniture manufacturing industry, presenting the industry's development trends and trends for 2023.
As the annual event for the beginning of spring in the Asian furniture manufacturing industry, CIFM/interzum Guangzhou is held concurrently with the China (Guangzhou) International Furniture Fair (CIFF) Phase II: Office Environment and Commercial Space Exhibition. On the first day of the exhibition, the Interzum Guangzhou Award and VSIL Forum launch ceremony was held.
The Interzum Guangzhou Award originates from the heavyweight award in the global furniture manufacturing industry, the Interzum Award. Every year, it selects a group of furniture accessory raw material enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to the furniture industry. Together, they promote the technological innovation, new material application, and production plan development of global furniture, and are the favorite of many furniture brands. The establishment of awards aims to encourage enterprises to initiate innovative projects and promote the upward development of the industry.

On the afternoon of March 28th, the VSIL forum continued the theme of "Vitality of Sustainable Innovation to Life", sharing hot topics such as whole house customization, industry integration, product research and development, and interior furniture product design trends, deeply analyzing the development direction and trends of the furniture manufacturing industry. In addition to themed forums focused on industry hotspots and development trends, 'Vibrant Creation' VSIL@Gallery The Aesthetics Laboratory once again made a stunning debut, launching a sleep zone with the theme of "WAKEFULNESS Awakening", which attracted enthusiastic attention and response at the exhibition site.
This exhibition revolves around the sleep research report of Dutch youth design studio Enrichers, which guides emotional release through objects and space, and provides high-quality sleep recommendations by adjusting temperature and lighting, exploring product designs that can empathize with the audience.
The "VSIL Forum" on March 29th will focus on topics such as sleep economy, circular economy of green and environmentally friendly materials, and smart furniture. Ryan Trainer, President of the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA), Sascha Peters, Founder of HAUTE Innovation, Che Aifu, Head of Asia Pacific R&D at Henkel Adhesive Technology Home and Sports Fashion Division, Simon Jenkinson, President of Linac (China), and Xia Bohan, General Manager of SIMALFA ® China, will bring wonderful sharing.
